that EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, all OmniSite remote monitoring units are now shipping with conformal coated printed circuit boards.
The coating consists of a mold and mildew resistant “covering” on all circuit boards which makes them a robust performer in the demanding water and wastewater industries. The new PCBs will have a shiny coating similar in look to a film of clear polyethylene coating such as seen on a finished wood floor or furniture.
