OmniSite Units Receive Upgrade

Circuit Boards now shipping with Conformal Coating

Greenwood, Indiana - April 20, 2009 - OmniSite (www.omnisite.com), the leader in low cost easy to use monitoring equipment for the wastewater industry, today announced that EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, all OmniSite remote monitoring units are now shipping with conformal coated printed circuit boards.

The coating consists of a mold and mildew resistant “covering” on all circuit boards which makes them a robust performer in the demanding water and wastewater industries. The new PCBs will have a shiny coating similar in look to a film of clear polyethylene coating such as seen on a finished wood floor or furniture.

“Several high impact projects have been on the shelf for the last couple years at OmniSite due to the project of transitioning our clients from analog to digital cellular service”, commented Tom Ward, President of OmniSite, “Now that the upgrade transition is behind us, we will be rolling out several high value features and products in 2009, such as our new conformal coated PCBs, to improve our customers overall experience and ease of use.”
