Receive a "proof positive" indication that your pump or motor is functioning correctly. THe CS200A split-core current switch by OmniSite continuously monitors the amperage flowing through a single phase of the AC supply feeding
your motor.
Many PLC and SCADA systems on the market today only monitor the motor starter auxiliary contacts or coil voltage. In this scenario a circuit breaker downstream of the monitoring point could be tripped and your PLC or SCADA will never know. The CS200A from OmniSite eliminates this by detecting the actual motor current and not simply if the motor has been commanded to start.
The CS200A has a removable base for mounting directly to your control panel, or can be simply snapped into place using the split core design and the base can be discarded. This is the easiest to use design on the market and is a huge time saver in the field.
