Helps with CMOM and Security Guidelines

Greenwood, Indiana – June 6, 2005 – OmniSite (www.omnisite.com), the leader in low cost easy to use monitoring equipment for the wastewater industry, today announced that the OmniSite Crystal Ball was recently recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency in an article that describes advantages and disadvantages of several different styles of alarm systems for water and wastewater security. Click here to read the EPA water and wastewater alarm security article, EPA Security Alarm Article. The OmniSite system would fall under the Wireless Communications Method under the Cellular Technology section.

The OmniSite product line, besides being an excellent choice for water and wastewater security alarm monitors, also is an excellent choice when trying to meet CMOM guidelines. The Greenwood Metropolitan Authority purchased 15 OmniSite monitors in 2002 to help meet their CMOM guidelines. The OmniSite RTU’s monitor high level alarms, power failures, rainfall and also helps calculate pump station flow at 15 of their 26 pump stations. Click here to read the Greenwood Metropolitan Authority CMOM Case Study, Greenwood County CMOM Article.

Justin Poehler, Technical Support Analyst, had this to say about the Crystal Ball “The Crystal Ball is an excellent security alarm monitor for water towers and pump stations. The fact that customers can hook up multiple cameras to give them a real-time look at their location, is a real “plus” for the customer. With new water security regulations, CMOM compliance and the Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002, water and wastewater utilities have a lot on their minds, and OmniSite believes the Crystal Ball will help with the process of meeting the criteria of these regulations.” Click here to read the Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002,Bioterrorism Act.

Sales Increase by over 100%

Greenwood, Indiana – January 1, 2004 – OmniSite (www.omnisite.com), the leader in low cost easy to use monitoring equipment for the wastewater industry, today announced record sales in 2003. This is the 6th consecutive year of increased sales.

Another banner year is under the belt, as OmniSite reports increased sales of 100% in the year 2003 over the year 2002. OmniSite watched as the Crystal Ball, a product which many customers called the “product of the future” for sewage lift station monitors, took the wastewater industry by storm. Customers bought them in droves.

Justin Poehler, Technical Support Supervisor for OmniSite said of 2003, “I knew it was going to be a busy year from the first day of January when the Support department had call after call about new start-ups. Luckily for us our products went in easy with very little or no problems!”

“The fact the XR-50 was now able to handle Triplex lift stations gave the product a big boost. The Crystal Ball will also be able to handle triplex stations by the end of 2004, and I am sure sales will go through the roof again,” said Poehler. “It is amazing that with all the competition we get from SCADA and telephone dialers that we sell so many of these things. I guess that is just a testament to how well the products work. I am sure 2004 will be another banner year for OmniSite. Keeping busy will definitely not be an issue!”
