Do you ever wonder what happens when you place an order with OmniSite? When you place an order with us, our team immediately gets to work. Orders are promptly entered by our Order Entry Department, and an order acknowledgment is sent to confirm processing has begun. From there, every product goes through extensive quality testing, including both a first and second test, to ensure your equipment is functioning properly before shipment. Once approved, the units are carefully packaged and prepared for delivery to your facility. Need a faster turnaround? Configuration Services
Take the hassle out of setup with GuardDog Configuration Services! For only $249.00 per unit, OmniSite Technical Support will fully configure your Crystal Ball or XR50 device on GuardDog to your exact preferences. Alarm notifications, inputs, reporting settings, contacts, and more can all be preconfigured by our experienced team — leaving you with a faster, simpler installation process in the field. Once your unit arrives, all that’s left is to install and wire it.
Crystal Ball Kit - IMPORTANT
The Crystal Ball is an extremely powerful product capable of delivering advanced monitoring data such as pump amps, well level readings, and 15-minute reporting visibility through. However, it is important to understand that these features rely on the proper accessories and transducers being included with the installation.
Without purchasing the complete Crystal Ball Kit, customers will receive very limited value from 15-minute reporting. The reporting functionality is designed to provide meaningful operational insights — including pump amp data and well level monitoring — but without the required transducers, the customer will see little additional information beyond standard alarm activity.
This is why OmniSite strongly recommends selling the complete Crystal Ball Kit whenever customers want to take advantage of the advanced reporting and monitoring capabilities the product was designed to provide.
If the customer:
- Does not plan to use the Crystal Ball as a pump controller, OR
- Is not purchasing the complete Crystal Ball Kit with the required accessories,
then the XR50 is often the better solution.
The XR50 costs less while still providing the exact level of monitoring many customers actually need. This helps avoid situations where a customer purchases a Crystal Ball expecting advanced functionality but becomes disappointed because the unit was not fully equipped or utilized correctly.
