Hello OmniSite Users,

You may have noticed that GuardDog got an upgrade. The dashboard & reporting pages are the first phase of our overhaul, and we want to hear from you! We greatly appreciate your feedback in helping us improve our platform for you. Please feel free to share your thoughts below.

Let's Hear it!

IN THIS ISSUE

  • The Phases of the GuardDog Overhaul
  • New Navigation Panel
  • New OmniBeacon Lens Colors
  • GuardDog Webinar Training Available

GuardDog Overhaul

An explanation of each phase and what to expect.

In phase one of the GuardDog overhaul the architecture was created to support the foundation of the backend to support changes more easily. In addition, the interface of the landing page and reporting pages were completely redesigned.

In phase two, we will be introducing an audit trail of the changes made in GuardDog by the users. Followed by the rest of the pages being completely finished.

In phase three, OmniSite will be introducing biological processing. We received a grant from Amazon to explore the idea of ai integration and the processing of lab samples.

New Navigation Panel

GuardDog has introduced an enhanced method for navigating the platform. The navigation button can now be located on the left side of your browser, situated under the hamburger menu. By expanding this menu through the hamburger button, detailed descriptions of each icon will be revealed. While you may notice missing pages on GuardDog, rest assured that this is a deliberate step in our strategic rollout of new updates.

Important to Note

When on the dashboard the default mode is single station view, if you hit the toggle, it will switch to multistation view.

How do I find the new GuardDog?

Right as you log into GuardDog you will see a toggle on the right-hand side above the news section. Click on this to see the new dashboard.
